2024 is a big year for World of Warcraft. Blizzard’s hugely popular game is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and its 10th expansion, The War Within, is coming in just a few days on August 26. To celebrate these milestones, Blizzard has teamed up with SteelSeries to release special World of Warcraft edition gaming peripherals, including WoW versions of the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 headset, Aerox 9 wireless gaming mouse, and more. Each item in the new SteelSeries x World of Warcraft collection is releasing on September 26, but you can pre-order them all now (or check back later for restocks). All of the gear comes with additional mounts and pets that can be used in World of Warcraft.
$200
Leading the new SteelSeries x World of Warcraft collection is the Arctis Nova 7 WoW Special Edition wireless headset. This version has the same great features that make it our favorite gaming headset for PC and console, including the super comfortable suspended headband design, 2.4GHz and Bluetooth wireless connectivity, simultaneous playback on multiple devices, second-generation Clearcast microphone, and more. This version also features a unique black and gold color scheme and removable earcups with the World of Warcraft “W” logo. The Arctis Nova 7 World of Warcraft Edition also comes with a code that you can use to redeem the Grinning Reaver mount in-game.
40 USD each
SteelSeries’ World of Warcraft Edition Nova Booster Packs allow players to show their loyalty to the Alliance or Horde with unique headbands and earcup plates for the Arctis Nova 7 and Nova Pro. The custom bands and plates are compatible with all models of the Nova 7 and Nova Pro headsets, including the new World of Warcraft Edition Arctis 7. Each pack includes a code to unlock the Battle Turtle mount in-game.
160$
The Aerox 9 wireless gaming mouse is also offered as a special World of Warcraft Edition model. Thanks to its 18 programmable buttons, 180 hours of battery life, comfortable design, and support for Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz wireless connections, the Aerox 9 is a great choice for MMO gamers. The Aerox 9 World of Warcraft Edition also includes the in-game pet Lil’Flameo for World of Warcraft.
$40
SteelSeries also offers the QcK XXL World of Warcraft Edition mouse pad to match the Aerox 9 wireless WoW mouse. Like other versions of the QcK XXL, the pad is 35.5 inches wide and 15.75 inches deep and is made from materials that allow for smooth mouse movements. As a bonus, WoW players who purchase the QxK XXL World of Warcraft Edition will also receive the Battle Turtle mount for in-game use.
$80
Last but not least, SteelSeries is offering a new WoW-themed Artisan keycap. Like other special edition keycaps from the company, this collectible lets you replace one of the keys on your mechanical keyboard with this unique resin-cast and hand-painted key based on the legendary Sword of Sargeras. It also includes a code for the in-game Battle Turtle mount.
Fans looking to secure the new SteelSeries x World of Warcraft items should hurry. The company’s previous collaborations for other games like Destiny 2 have sold out quickly, and given WoW’s popularity, it’s likely these will disappear faster than a stealth rogue spell.
