In the SEC, there is one sponsor that is synonymous with the head coaches and every press conference they give. No, we’re not talking about the Aflac commercials where Nick Saban talks to a duck about insurance, we’re talking about Coca Cola. The Coca Cola bottles on the podium at SEC press conferences have given us great moments, like when Saban told reporters they could ask for the bottle after Kirby Smart left for Georgia because he wanted nothing to do with it.
Another great moment came from the Coke Bottles when Lane Kiffin addressed the media and digressed:
“Does anyone drink Coke? Do you realize that 130% of your sugar needs for the whole day are in that one bottle? 65 grams of sugar.”

The clip itself is simply hilarious, but Brian Kelly took it to the extreme in his debriefing on Wednesday with this introduction:
“Just a shout out to our sponsor Coke. Smartwater is a great Coke product, minerals, vitamins, it’s just great for you, so refreshing and healthy, and Coke gives you all the products you need depending on what you like and I love Smartwater.”
