Will France win the gold medal in men’s football as host of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris?

Or will Spain bring home gold after failing in the last Olympic final?

France and Spain will play in the men’s Olympic football final on Friday. Kick-off is at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time in the Parc des Princes in Paris.

Both countries hope to win their second gold medal in this sport.

Spain was playing for the gold medal for the second year in a row, but won silver against Brazil at the Tokyo Olympics. Spain previously won gold in Barcelona in 1992.

France won silver as host of the 1900 Olympic Games in Paris and most recently won gold in 1984 in Los Angeles.
