Model and actress Kelly Brook has revealed that her marriage to her handsome Italian husband Jeremy Parisi has “simplified” her life as she prepares to leave the UK to film a big new TV show. The happily in love couple, who married in July 2022, are currently packing up to swap London for the Italian village of Arpino, where they plan to film their own daytime show for ITV.
Speaking about how marriage has changed her, Kelly recently revealed: “Jeremy and I, now that we’re married, we’ve definitely simplified our lives.” However, the 44-year-old is about to uproot her roots again – after selling her Kent farmhouse last year to move to London with Jeremy – and move to Italy, where they will work on Jeremy’s family olive oil farm.
Speaking to MailOnline about the new show, titled La Dolce Vita, Kelly said: “He’s got a little farmhouse in Italy that needs renovation. It’s an olive oil farm, so we’ll get involved and press olives and learn how to make pizza. I’m learning Italian.”
Although Kelly already has an impressive list of acting roles under her belt – including Inspector Barnaby, Moving Wallpaper and Smallville – this will be a first for her to appear alongside her better half.
In conversation with OK! Earlier this year, Kelly shared that she was feeling the same way about her life: “Married life is really good. I’ve lived my whole life away from the traditional life of having a real job, a dog and a husband. I’m questioning who I am. I used to run around the city and now I’m settled down. It’s crazy, but also great.”
She has also proved herself as a property developer and interior designer. After buying her Kent farmhouse nearly 20 years ago, she spent 17 years renovating it in what she called a “labor of love” before putting it on the market and selling it last year.
Kelly admitted how far she has come since she rose to fame as a model in the 1990s, saying OK!: “When I started modelling, I thought my career would be over by the time I was 30, then I would have kids, get married and move on. You never saw older women in magazines or anywhere, so I didn’t think I could have a career in this industry. But that never happened, I became a DJ at 39, so it’s incredible.”
