Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The state government will fill up the vacancies in corporations, boards, agencies and other places within a month. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, BJP state president VD Sharma and the organisation’s general secretary Hitanand Sharma have already held talks on political appointments.

A list of persons to be appointed is being prepared. Three types of leaders will play an important role in political appointments. First, those who were appointed to corporations and boards earlier will be given preference this time. Second, those who are popular with the people but did not get ballots in the Vidhan Sabha and Lok Sabha elections will be given a chance. To satisfy the leaders of the places where by-elections are being held, they may be appointed to boards and corporations.

Thirdly, along with them, the Congress MPs who have joined the BJP may also get a chance. These three politicians will prepare a list of candidates for corporate and board posts and submit it to national president JP Nadda. Once Nadda signs the candidates, the appointments will be finalised.

After assuming office as Prime Minister, Yadav cancelled all political appointments before the Lok Sabha elections. After that, many party leaders waited for political appointments.

According to sources, the RSS is putting pressure on the government to complete the process of political appointments as soon as possible to adjust the organisation’s staff. Sources in the BJP said some party leaders have approached the central leadership for appointments to posts in corporations and boards. The BJP leaders have also approached the chief minister, state president and general secretary of the organisation for appointments.
