WILLIAMSPORT – At the 2024 Little League Baseball World Series on Wednesday, some teams will try to remain undefeated while others will try to stay in the race.

US BRACKETS

Nevada (2-0) vs. Texas (2-0)

The Henderson team enters Wednesday with wins in its first two games, including a 3-2 victory over Hawaii on Monday. Boerne Little League has also played just two games and overtook Florida on Monday night.

Whoever wins this game will advance to the US Championship Game on Saturday.

The Maui team rebounded from its first loss of the World Series on Tuesday with a narrow 3-1 win over Pennsylvania. The Lake Mary Little League also lost its first game of the tournament on Monday, but held on with a 6-1 win over Staten Island to stay in the race.

INTERNATIONAL CLASS

Japan (2:0) – Chinese Taipei (3:0)

This is a heavyweight fight to determine who advances to the international championship.

The Tokyo team is still undefeated thanks to two wins in different ways. After an 11-0 victory over Puerto Rico last Thursday, they battled against Venezuela and came away with a 2-1 victory. Chinese Taipei has cruised through the competition so far, scoring 29 runs in the first three games.

Mexico (3-1) – Venezuela (2-1)

Since losing for the first time last week, Mexico’s offense has come alive, scoring 14 runs against the last two teams and eliminating Canada and Cuba in their last two games. Venezuela was a very tough opponent in the first three games in Williamsport. After losing to Japan on Monday, they rebounded and beat Aruba in their first elimination game on Tuesday.
