Although it is constantly debated, fanfiction has remained an integral part of fandoms. During the time of Star TrekFan fiction is now easily available online for anyone who seeks it.
Fanfiction is also easily found by those who aren’t looking for it, including those it’s written about. Some find it completely unpleasant, while others actually react and voice their thoughts on how it was written.

A resurfaced clip went viral because the idols talked about the “positions” assigned to them.
In many fanfictions about K-pop idols, they are usually intertwined as romantic couples, with some of them topping the list of most frequently described couples in the popular fanfiction archive. Our own archive (The AO3).
In texts with sexual content, authors sometimes use stereotypical characteristics to assign idols “positions” in the bedroom: that of the partner who penetrates (top) and that of the partner who penetrates (bottom).
This topic came up somehow between Kim Jaejoong And TVXQ‘S Yunho.
Before the lawsuit that led to Jaejoong’s departure SM entertainmenthe was active together with Yunho as a member of DBSK. In the resurfaced clip, Yunho tells how he and Jaejoong in “Fantasy novels“ together, where they were lovers.
The two surprisingly continue to discuss it, with Yunho saying that he is usually the “male role“,“ and Jaejoong explained that he had “Becoming a mother.”
The tweet and several discussions about the video quickly reached millions of views and many interpreted it as a question of who was “ahead.”
