IPSC Rifle World Shoot Finland: Becky and Sean Yackley from Team Winchester help their teams win medals

Team Winchester competitors Becky and Sean Yackley both won medals while representing the United States at the 2024 IPSC Rifle World Shoot, held last week at the Ruutikangas Range in Oulu, Finland.

The competition was hotly contested: over 800 participants from all over the world gathered to shoot 30 levels over the course of the five-day event from July 30 to August 10.

Becky Yackley competed as part of the US Ladies Open team and won the gold medal for the third time. The team maintained a balance of speed and accuracy to secure first place on the division leaderboard with a score of 4883.7485.

Sean Yackley competed as a member of the U.S. men’s standard team, which means they shoot with non-magnifying sights, making long-range shots particularly difficult. However, the U.S. shooters rose to the challenge after winning the silver medal in their division with a score of 5478.6703.

“When targeting from 9 to 350 yards, accuracy is a must,” said Becky Yackley. “We used Winchester USA Ready, White Box FMJ, and Winchester Reloading Components throughout the event to ensure reliable performance at all distances.”
