Megyn Kelly says AOC reminded her of Mussolini during her speech

Meg Kelly ripped in Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’ (D-NY) speech at the Democratic National Convention on Monday, comparing her to the 20th century fascist Italian leader Benito Mussolini and described her speech as an “attack”.

Reaction to Ocasio-Cortez’ DNC speech on The Megyn Kelly ShowTuesday, Kelly said:

When I saw people on the Internet last night praising her, even some Republicans saying, “Oh, that was a great speech,” I thought, “Have you never seen a successful speaker? They confuse energy or enthusiasm with effectiveness. I mean, anybody can go up there and yell at you! (Scream) She can yell at you! That doesn’t make you a good speaker. It was like an attack. Right? Don’t you feel attacked by what I just did? That’s how I felt listening to her.”

After playing a clip of the former president Barack Obama Speaking at the DNC in 2004, Kelly continued, “That was AOC’s goal. That’s all of them’s goal. They’re failing. There’s only one Barack Obama, there’ll never be another Barack Obama. I’m sorry, find your own style. You’re not good at imitating.”

Kelly added that Ocasio-Cortez reminded her of a mix of Hilary Baldwin and Mussolini.

“She was a mixture of Hilaria, who went to a fancy boarding school in either Boston or Rhode Island and is not Spanish at all, and this guy,” she said. “You might remember him from World War II as the leader of Italy.”

Kelly then played a clip of Mussolini speaking to a crowd of his supporters from his balcony.
