There have been a lot of rumors circulating recently about Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet splitting up. Amidst such speculations, both Verstappen and Piquet have made a strong statement through their social media activities.

Piquet posted several pictures on Instagram of herself and Verstappen with the rest of her family from their holiday in Portugal. Along with her photos, she also posted a powerful caption that read: “How will we ever top this unforgettable summer vacation when friends become family? We’ll see each other again veeeeeery soon.”

Similar to Piquet, Verstappen also uploaded a picture with the Brazilian model to clarify that the two are indeed together. After posting a post of his own, Verstappen also left some hearts under Piquet’s post.

Both Piquet and Verstappen may have uploaded a few pictures together after several fans began to speculate that the two might have split because the Dutchman did not attend the wedding of his girlfriend’s sister (Julia Piquet). Verstappen decided to skip the celebrations as he preferred to spend time at home with his own family.

With F1 drivers spending most of the year travelling, they rarely have time to spend with their loved ones, so Verstappen may have found himself in a dilemma.

On the other hand, Kelly’s Instagram story, which contained a very cryptic message about the next chapter of her life, further fueled the rumors that the Brazilian model was likely to split from Verstappen. The post on her story read:

“You can literally feel when it is time to start the next chapter of your life”.

After reading this, fans came up with all sorts of speculations. Some speculated about the split, while others came up with theories that the couple might take their relationship to the next level by perhaps getting engaged.
