WBA Kids World Program to be launched in Argentina – World Boxing Association

WBA Kids World Program to be launched in Argentina – World Boxing Association

The World Boxing Association will launch the WBA Kids global boxing initiation and training program in Argentina this Wednesday. The aim of this new program is to introduce and teach boys and girls the noble art of boxing.

The presentation marks the start of the KO Drugs International Boxing Festival, which will take place on August 23 and 24 at the Casino Buenos Aires in the Argentine capital.

On Wednesday, the emblematic district of Villa Lugano will welcome children and young people who will be the stars of an unforgettable day. This event is the inaugural edition of WBA Kids, a program developed with educational tools to promote non-contact boxing in a fun and non-violent environment.

WBA Kids aims to build a formative and competitive structure for boys and girls who currently have no place in federal spheres. The program also intends to provide coaches and technical directors with specific educational tools for talent recruitment and training at an early age.

With this program, the World Boxing Association hopes to provide an underserved age group with a new space for boxing training and development. Hopefully, this will benefit the federal and Olympic sport in every country where WBA Kids is implemented.

In this way, the WBA continues its contribution to the promotion and development of boxing worldwide. WBA Kids joins the WBA Academy, the WBA Future Champions and the KO Drugs International Festival as pillars of the pioneering organization’s work in favor of world boxing.
