TEEF for Life introduces dental care treats at SuperZoo

TEEF for Life, a prebiotic pet dental care brand and a subsidiary of Primal Health, introduced its TEEF TREETS dental care treats for dogs and cats during SuperZoo 2024 in Las Vegas.

According to the company, 80% of pets show signs of dental problems and diseases by the age of three, and depending on the severity, these diseases can shorten a pet’s natural lifespan by up to a third. Many pet dental care products do not take into account the importance of maintaining the animal’s oral microbiome, which is vital to the pet’s overall health, the company said.

TEEF TREETS are an all-in-one, high-protein treat featuring the company’s formulas – Protektin42 for dogs and Protektin30 for cats. Developed and developed by Dr. Emily Stein, TEEF’s Protektin formulas are based on a proprietary prebiotic technology called Selective Microbial Metabolism Regulation Technology (SMMRT). SMMRT uses 100% safe, natural nutrients to put mouth bacteria on a keto diet, improving breath and oral health. These formulas are part of the brand’s tooth powder products and are now incorporated into freeze-dried salmon or duck treats.

“We are incredibly excited to be showcasing our latest dental innovation at SuperZoo this year,” said Lindsey Campbell, co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of TEEF. “This show attracts some of the most influential people and companies in the pet industry from around the world. It’s exciting to be featured alongside other incredible innovations that will improve the well-being and quality of life of pets.”
