After several random reveals, a retailer list, and even two event announcements, the LEGO Group has finally officially unveiled 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition.
Perhaps LEGO Harry Potter’s worst-kept secret, this 2,405-piece set will be available exclusively to LEGO Insiders from September 1, before a wider release through official LEGO channels from September 4 for £219.99 / $259.99 / €259.99. It’s part of the LEGO Group’s Back to Hogwarts promotion, which also has three free gifts up for grabs early next month.
The third version of the Weasley house under the LEGO Harry Potter banner is also the largest to date and includes a total of 10 minifigures: Harry, Ron, Fred, George, Ginny, Arthur, Molly, Percy, Charlie and Bill. This is the first time that the entire Weasley clan is represented in a LEGO set and both Bill and Charlie Weasley are making their debut as minifigures.
While the previous two Burrows playsets were open-backed, this larger structure can either be opened up to access the interior or folded down to create a fully enclosed house. Inside, too, you’ll find plenty of detail, from the working fireplace that simulates a minifigure using the Floo network to the dishes that wash themselves in the sink (operated here by turning a crank).
76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition joins a growing list of huge and exclusive LEGO Harry Potter sets that so far includes 71043 Hogwarts Castle, 75978 Diagon Alley, 76391 Hogwarts Icons Collectors’ Edition, 76405 Hogwarts Express Collectors’ Edition and 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank Collectors’ Edition.
From September 1st to 10th (or while stocks last), three different LEGO Harry Potter gifts will be available with purchase alongside 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition. Orders over £35/$40/€40 for LEGO Harry Potter sets will get you 30677 Draco in the Forbidden Forest, and if you increase your purchase to £120/$130/€130 (still only for Wizarding World sets), you’ll also get 40695 Borgin and Burkes: Floo Network with your order.
Finally, the 5009008 Weasley Collector’s Watch is included free when you purchase the 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition. You must be enrolled in the LEGO Insiders program to receive both the watch and the Floo GWP.
