The Bachelorette: Jenn’s dates in her hometown put romances to the test
The hometown era has arrived on The Bachelorette, and with fantasy suites on the horizon, Jenn and her men are deeper into the action than ever before.

Monday’s episode began in Houston, Texas, where Jenn reunited with Devin for a quick “love run” with his closest friends.
Jenn then set out to meet his family, which included his parents, grandparents and brother.
In a private chat, Devin confessed to his father that he was in love with Jenn, but didn’t dare tell her yet – especially because he didn’t want her to turn around and say the same thing to another of the remaining men.
In conversation with his mother, Jenn again shared that she had officially “fallen in love” with Devin, but in be While chatting with his mom Jennifer, he reiterated that he was already in love.
After taking some motherly advice, Devin gathered up his courage and confessed to Jenn that he loved her. But being the good Bachelorette that she is, Jenn’s response stayed within traditional boundaries, saying instead that she “fell so much in love with him.”

Inexplicably, the two began their adventures in Connecticut by dressing up as food vendors before sharing a lobster roll.
After a chance encounter with Jeremy’s aunt at that very grocery store, Jenn was introduced to the whole family.
It became clear pretty quickly that the connection between the two wasn’t quite as deep as the other couples, and Jeremy had to face some pretty intense interrogation from his loved ones on the subject, as they all seemed convinced that he just wasn’t ready to be engaged to her yet.
Nevertheless, the couple managed to weather the storm reasonably well, but the cracks began to appear again when Jeremy admitted that he had “fallen in love” with Jenn and that she did not return his feelings.
Jenn took a flight to Cali and then met Jonathan and his family. Jonathon’s brother came in hot and asked Jenn directly about her connections with the other men, while his mother was quickly won over by her charm.
In the end, Jonathon’s family pushed him to be vulnerable with Jenn, even though he was afraid of further heartbreak, and he eventually confessed that he was falling in love with her.

Finally it was time to see Marcus in Washington.
He announced that his parents would not be there, but Jenn had the opportunity to meet his sister Gabby, and a lot from close friends.
Jenn turned to Gabby to learn more about the walls Marcus had put up, and she became emotional as she admitted her uncertainty about his feelings.
Gabby gave Marcus an extra push to be open with Jenn about his feelings, and he finally took the plunge, even dropping the F-word… he “fell”!
When Jenn confirmed that she felt the same, the hometown talks ended and things headed back to LA for the anticipated rose ceremony.
But first, Bachelor Nation was treated to an unexpected guys’ night at a local bar, where the quartet chatted about their respective dates.
The mood changed when Marcus admitted that he needed more from the relationship to feel ready to propose – a view that the others obviously did not share.
Unfortunately, Jenn is confident enough to further deepen her connection with Marcus, which ultimately forces Jeremy to leave.
