Good Old Games, also known as GOG, was founded by the team many years ago to bring older, classic PC games to modern hardware without DRM.

They are currently giving away a great stealth game called Intravenousa top-down pixel graphic adventure.

Personally, I did not play Intravenousbut as soon as I read the details this morning, I went to GOG.com and grabbed it for free.

I’m a fan of top-down shooters and this one seems to offer the perfect mix of stealth and action, with plenty of environmental effects to influence the way you play.

According to the website Intravenous only takes about nine hours.

Looking at the footage and screenshots, it seems to be a mix of Splinter Cell and Hotline Miamithis is a match made in heaven.

As you play, you’ll need to react to your surroundings and use them to your advantage, as your footsteps and the intensity of the light will affect how stealthy you can be.

Additionally, you’ll have access to a range of weapons as you play through a “hard” story and attempt to defeat enemies controlled by a “reactive AI.”

It seems that GOG is giving this game away for free to promote the sequel, which comes out on August 16th.

So if you try it and like it, know that you have more to play next week. But you have to hurry to Intravenous free because the offer ends in four hours.
