Jenn admits to having fallen in love with all 4 remaining men

Jenn Tran met the parents of her final four in the August 19 episode of The Bachelorette.

First she went to Houston with Devin.

“If you had told me on the first night that Devin was getting a hometown in Houston, Texas, I probably wouldn’t have believed you,” Jenn, 26, said in an on-camera interview. “But as the weeks went by, Devin really surprised me.”

First, Jenn met Devin’s running club, which wore T-shirts with the reality stars’ faces. Devin’s friends asked him what he liked about Jenn, and Devin, 28, said, “She 100% accepts me for who I am.”

Devin introduced Jenn to his dog Charlie, followed by his mother Jennifer, father Temo, grandfather Gary, grandmother Phyllis and brother Pierce. The owner of the freight company told his family how his journey with Jenn took them to Australia, and Jenn asked Devin’s relatives if they had heard of Thunder Down Under.

“He put on a little show,” Jenn told Devin’s family, adding that he was wearing a thong.

“As little as they could let me carry them,” Devin interjected.

When Devin spoke to Temo privately, he told his father that he was “pretty sure” he loved Jenn.

“She’s someone I envision myself with for the rest of my life,” Devin said.

Jenn expressed a similar feeling to Jennifer.

“I just feel like we’re at a point in our relationship where I have such strong feelings for him and can really envision a future with him,” Jenn said.

Jennifer encouraged her son to tell Jenn how he felt, even though he was worried that there were other men vying for her heart.

“If you feel that way, don’t hold back,” Jennifer told Devin, adding, “Otherwise you won’t be the one.”

After separating from his family, Devin told Jenn that he loved her.

“I’m falling in love with you so much,” Jenn replied.

JEREMY’S HOMETOWN DATE

Jeremy began his career in his hometown of Farfield, Connecticut by taking Jenn to a Stew Leonard’s grocery store.

“This is the craziest grocery store I’ve ever been to!” Jenn told the cameras after seeing the store’s singing milk cartons, cow mascot and homemade doughnuts.

Jenn and Jeremy, 29, ate a lobster roll before meeting his aunt, then put together a bouquet of flowers to bring to his mother, Karen.

The PA student also met Jeremy’s stepfather Michael, his sisters Lindsey and Emily, and Lindsay’s fiancé Alex. Jeremy told his family that he told Jenn he had a large penis when they first met.

“When she was named the Bachelorette, she described what she was looking for in a man and I said to myself, that’s not Jeremy,” Karen said in an on-camera interview.

When Jenn spoke to Emily, she asked Jeremy’s younger sister if he would be ready to get engaged at the end of the process. Emily said “maybe not” and told her brother that Jenn thought he was being reserved because they “hadn’t really expressed how they felt about each other.”

“I’m not going to sit here and say, ‘Oh, I’m going to propose to her tomorrow,'” Jeremy told the cameras. “I live day by day.”

Nevertheless, Jeremy told his mother: “I am very happy with everything.”

Karen pointed out that Jenn still had three men in the race, but Jeremy was confident.

“She likes me the most,” he assured.

Jenn left the conversation with Karen feeling discouraged because she didn’t know if Jeremy would be ready to commit to Jenn.

“She doesn’t seem to have any hopes of a relationship,” Jenn noted in an on-camera interview.

After leaving Jeremy’s family home, Jenn asked him directly if he was ready to get engaged.

“With the right person, I’m ready for it,” he assured Jenn.

Jeremy also told her that he was in love with her. “I love being with you, I really do,” he said.

Jenn replied, “This makes me so happy.”

Jonathan’s hometown

Jenn then ended up in San Diego, where she wondered if Jonathan could confess his feelings for her.

After a lacrosse game, Jonathan told Jenn he could “see something here.” But, “I don’t use the term ‘love’ lightly,” he continued. “So I don’t want to say ‘love’ if I’m not fully in it.”

That didn’t calm Jenn down.

“It worries me that he is not able to fully express his feelings for me,” she said in an on-camera interview.

However, Jonathan, 27, told the camera that he wanted to get “clarity” from his family before fully committing to Jenn.

When the time came, Jonathan’s sister-in-law told Jenn and the creative director that their relationship could become serious because she and Jonathan’s sister Zach had progressed quickly (they said “I love you” on the third date) and they had been married for four years.

“If it’s the right person, time doesn’t matter,” she said.

When Jenn spoke privately with Jonathan’s mother, Lisa, she confided in her reluctance to move forward with him.

“It’s been challenging to figure out exactly how I feel about Jonathan because I know he’s a little reserved,” Jenn confessed to Lisa.

Lisa replied, “Realistically, is he someone you would choose?”

Jenn said she wouldn’t be with his family if she didn’t see Jonathan as a real option.

Lisa urged Jonathan to be more open with Jenn. “You’ll never know unless you disclose everything,” she told him.

This made Jonathan feel like he had the clarity he needed.

“It’s opened my eyes to so many things and I love so many things about it. It’s… can I do it? 100%,” he told Jenn.

Jenn asked Jonathan to express his feelings more clearly. “Jennifer Tran, I’m falling in love with you,” he told her.

Jenn shared the same feeling with him. “I’m falling in love with you too,” she said.

MARCUS’ HOMETOWN DATE

Jenn ended the week in Tacoma, Washington, where she met Marcus’ parents, Scott and Sue, and his sister Gabriella. After Jenn and Marcus, 32, told everyone about their first skydiving date, the Army Ranger veteran spoke to Scott privately.

“I think I’m stuck somewhere between really, really liking someone and loving them,” Marcus told Scott, clarifying that he’s “not in love with Jenn” yet.

Jenn told Gabriella that she and Marcus “have a connection that I can’t really fully describe.” And although she doesn’t know “how much he feels for me,” Jenn told Gabriella with tears in her eyes, “I’m definitely falling in love with him and I think I’m scared because I don’t want to get my heart broken either.”

Marcus admitted that he had reservations about proposing to her at the end of the show.

“I want to make sure I do this with the right person, and I think it’s just the speed at which everything is happening that makes it kind of hard for me to get in my own way,” he said.

But Gabriella encouraged him to let his guard down. “Love can be scary, but at the end of the day, it’s definitely worth it,” she told Marcus.

Jenn ended the day feeling like she could be a part of Marcus’ family – and Marcus also had the impression that the meeting had gone well.

“The way they think about you is an extension of how I think about you,” he told Jenn. “So, I want you to know that I’m falling in love with you.”

Jenn felt the same way. “Especially after today, I’m falling in love with you too,” she replied.

ROSE CEREMONY

Before the rose ceremony, all four remaining guys shared a round of beers and talked about how their dates with Jenn had gone.

“I felt really good when I left the hometown,” Jeremy told the other men. “Maybe I should be more nervous.”

Devin agreed, telling the group he was “really sure” about his future with Jenn. “I don’t have any reservations about her anymore,” Devin added.

As a result, Marcus told the camera that he felt like he was “behind the times at the moment.”

“Honestly, it’s this sense of shame that I’m not ready yet,” Marcus continued. “What are these guys doing that I’m not capable of right now? It makes me feel like there’s something wrong with me.”

But Jenn saw it differently. When she showed up for the rose ceremony, she told host Jesse Palmer that she had strong feelings for all four boys.

“I’m definitely falling in love with all these men and that’s why this night is so hard for me,” Jenn told Jesse, 45.

Jenn didn’t notice Marcus’ concerns and gave him a rose. She did the same for Devin and Jonathan, which meant that Jeremy would return to the land of Stew Leonard.

“Even though it ended this way, I’ve made my peace with it because I know whoever is in there will take care of you,” Jeremy said to Jenn before he left.

Jenn explained on camera why she let Jeremy go. “He’s someone I wanted to see a future with,” she said, “but I just didn’t quite get it.”
