Kelly Clarkson announces big news for “Kellyoke” fans

Fans asked, and Kelly Clarkson listened.

The powerhouse singer and daytime talk show host had big news to share with her fans on Thursday, August 8, when she announced an exciting new update on her “Kellyoke” performances.

The flawless covers from the karaoke or “Kellyoke” part of the The Kelly Clarkson Show never fails to blow her fans away, and now listeners can hear Clarkson perform in a whole new environment.

As the “Because of You” singer announced on Instagram on Thursday, her Kellyoke covers will now be available on Sirius XM radio station Kelly Clarkson Connection — and it’s safe to say fans are excited.

“OMG THIS IS INCREDIBLE! 💓,” cheered one Instagram user in the comments.

“FINALLY 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥,” rejoiced another fan.

In the audio clip in which Clarkson announces the good news, she described requests to officially release Kellyoke covers as “the one question I get asked most often.”

She described her station Sirius XM as the “perfect place” to present her covers. American Idol The graduate said the live performances will be “mixed and mastered” for radio, meaning her voice will likely sound even more flawless than usual – if that’s even possible.

“Every cover you sing sounds better than the original,” wrote one very satisfied fan under Thursday’s post. “There are songs I didn’t even like, but then we get a version by Kelly Clarkson and suddenly I like it. You are a vocal wizard!”

And while many fans were excited about the news, many of Clarkson’s followers are still hoping that the Kellyoke covers will be released on major music streaming platforms.

Numerous commentators continued to implore Clarkson to release her Kellyoke covers on Spotify and Apple Music, especially those who do not live in the US and do not have access to the Sirius XM channel from other countries.

“We need these on Spotify for your international fans, please please!!! 🙏🏼,” one person pleaded, while others expressed hope that the covers will one day be released on vinyl.

Small steps, people!
