Exciting free-to-play demo introducing Clive’s epic story and showcasing large-scale Eikon battles, now available on PC

SQUARE ENIX® announced today that they are releasing the latest numbered entry in the FINAL FANTASY™ series, FINAL FANTASY XVIfor PC platforms, including Steam® and Epic Games Store, on September 17. A free demo for the critically acclaimed action RPG is also now available on both platforms.

Players can now pre-order the FINAL FANTASY XVI Standard Editionwhich contains the base game, or the Complete editionwhich also includes the exciting DLC ​​chapters “Echoes of the Fallen” and “The Rising Tide” at a reduced price. In addition, players who wish to purchase the DLC chapters individually or as a FINAL FANTASY XVI Expansion Pass that includes both chapters will be able to do so at launch.

Those who pre-order the game on either platform will also receive the following in-game DLC items:

• Brave Blade Weapon
• Cait Sith Charm (Gil Boost Accessory)
• Music roll “Sixteen Bells”

The adrenaline-charged FINAL FANTASY XVI demo is also now available on Steam and the Epic Games Store, allowing players to try out the PC version for free. The demo includes the game’s opening prologue during Clive’s youth, with save data carried over into the full game upon launch. With over two hours of content, the demo also includes a special “Eikonic Challenge” mode that allows players to enjoy even wilder battles with access to even more Eikonic abilities in combat.
