Coleen Nolan, 59, was a proud mother of the bride as she hosted an incredible engagement party for her daughter Ciara ahead of her wedding to Max.

Taking to Instagram, the Loose Women star showed off the festivities, which took place at her “dream home” and included red and white picnic tables with buffet food, a red carpet, fairy lights and plenty of dancing. In a bright blue midi dress and matching hair bow, Coleen was in her element for the latter, excitedly pointing at a cardboard cutout of herself as she joined everyone on the dance floor.

“Last night we hosted an engagement party for my daughter and her fiancé in the barn of my dream home,” she captioned the video. Check it out below…

This comes just four months after Coleen excitedly announced her daughter’s engagement in April, sharing a photo of the 23-year-old, who she has with ex-husband Ray Fensome, wearing a black silk dress while leaning lovingly against her new fiancé Max for a loved-up photo.

The TV star’s future son-in-law wore a simple black T-shirt and a red patterned headscarf that held back his long, curly hair.

Coleen captioned the photo: “So what can I say… I’m so delighted that @maxxinnes proposed to my beautiful girlfriend @ciarafensome. I love them both sooooo much. I miss them even more! Can’t wait to see them. I’m off to buy a hat now x.”

Coleen was previously married to Shane Richie from 1990 to 1999 and to Ray Fensome from 2007 to 2018.

While Coleen has openly stated that she supports her children in their engagements and weddings, she hinted that she is unsure whether she would marry again.

She has been on-again, off-again with her partner Michael since meeting the supermarket manager on Tinder in 2021. In 2023, she told Bella magazine she was “not totally opposed” to getting married again, although she had no immediate plans.

“All good things come in threes… Oh, who knows? I never thought I would ever meet anyone again, so who knows. I’m not totally against it, but so far it’s not happening,” she confirmed.

However, in an interview with The Mirror in 2024, Coleen also spoke about her fear of commitment.

“I know Michael would like to marry me and to be fair to him, it’s probably because he’s insecure because I’ve been with him three times since I met him,” she confessed.

“It was all my problems because of what I had been through, so I pushed him away because I thought I couldn’t handle it.”
