Natrona County Emergency Management hosts a Response Expo on September 7

CASPER, Wyoming – The Natrona County Emergency Management Agency invites the public to the third annual Emergency Response Expo featuring local first responders at Crossroads Park (1101 N. Poplar St.) on Saturday, September 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to a news release from the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office.

“Come join us and meet the people who are committed to supporting our community,” said Stacia Hill, Natrona County Emergency Management Coordinator.

The event coincides with National Preparedness Month, which is held every September to raise awareness of the importance of disaster preparedness and
Emergencies that can occur at any time.

This free, family-friendly event offers residents the opportunity to learn how their local public safety agencies are prepared for emergencies in Natrona County.

Exhibits include live demonstrations and equipment.

Community members can view a large display of police vehicles, fire trucks, first responder equipment and supplies, an appearance by safety mascot Safetypup and much more.

This is a great opportunity to learn about the unique features of emergency equipment and meet the first responders who operate it.

Participating agencies include Casper Fire and Rescue Services, Mills Fire Department, Casper Mountain Fire District, Evansville Fire and Rescue Services, Casper Airport Rescue and Fire Suppression Services, Natrona County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, Natrona County Search and Rescue Services, Casper Police Department, Metro Animal Services, Casper-Natrona County Public Safety Communications Center, Mills Police Department, Wyoming Highway Patrol, Banner Health – Wyoming Medical Center and the American Red Cross of Wyoming.
