Job description: Area Manager

Position Summary: We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Area Manager to oversee multiple locations within our company. The ideal candidate will have strong restaurant management knowledge, financial acumen and a proven ability to lead and inspire restaurant managers. Experience with ADP, Toast and Teamworks systems is desirable.
Main responsibilities:
Leadership and Management
- Oversee the operations of multiple brewery restaurant locations.
- Lead, mentor and develop restaurant managers and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Implement and manage operational policies and procedures across locations.
- Ensure that all locations comply with company standards and policies.
Financial management
- Develop and manage budgets for multiple locations.
- Analyze financial performance and implement strategies for improvement.
- Ensure cost-efficient operations and maintain financial sustainability.
- Prepare and present financial reports to management.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure quality service and consistent products are provided at each location.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures.
- Work with the brewery team to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Conduct regular on-site visits and audits to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
System administration
- Use ADP for payroll and HR management.
- Implement and manage Toast for POS and restaurant operations.
- Use Teamworks for workforce planning and communication.
Customer and community relationships
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and the community.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
- Promote the company’s brand and products through various marketing strategies.
Personnel development and training
- Oversee the recruitment, training and development of staff.
- Implement training programs to ensure that employees have the necessary expertise and skills.
- Lead the employee evaluation process and provide constructive feedback.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of senior level management experience in the restaurant industry.
- Proven experience in managing multiple locations.
- Strong financial knowledge and experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
- Experience with ADP, Toast and Teamworks systems is desirable.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of restaurant operations and industry trends.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hotel management or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
