An official LEGO Instagram account has shared a first look at this year’s flagship LEGO Harry Potter set, 76437 The Burrow, Collector’s Edition.

We’re still waiting for the official reveal of the 2024 Wizarding World set, which was originally teased by a LEGO Certified Store earlier this month, but the official LEGO House Instagram account appears to have prematurely promoted a book signing. Jay’s Brick Blog reports that the post was live at around 9:45am UK time today, but has since been removed.

The post specifically promoted a meet and greet with LEGO Harry Potter designers George Gilliatt, Santiago Carillo and Peter Kjærgaard at LEGO House on September 5 (from 3-5pm local time) and was accompanied by an image of George holding a boxed copy of 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition. The image gives us our best look yet at the 2,405-piece recreation of the Weasleys’ house.

The front of the box features a total of 10 minifigures, including Harry and presumably the entire Weasley clan: Ron, Fred, George, Arthur, Molly, Ginny, Percy, Bill, and even Charlie, who only appeared in the books but was cut from the films. This would be a rare case of the LEGO Group taking cues from the Harry Potter novels rather than the films.

We’ll hopefully hear more about 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition very soon, as the timing of the signing suggests we’re looking at a September 1st release date, as with previous LEGO Harry Potter exclusives like 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank Collectors’ Edition and 76405 Hogwarts Express Collectors’ Edition.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first and a LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism, however, runs through my veins like some kind of strange literary blood – the kind that will no doubt cause stress-induced heart failure one day. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
