Edith’s skills in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang

Passive – Overload

After each skill is used, Edith and Phylax are overloaded for a certain amount of time. During this time, all basic attacks trigger Chain Lightning, dealing additional magic damage to a certain number of enemies. The damage of Chain Lightning against minions is increased.

  • Chain Lightning is Edith’s farming tool, so use this skill every now and then during the laning phase to trigger Overload and clear minion waves faster.
  • Overload also works in her sniper form.
  • Chain Lightning deals additional magical damage to up to four enemies.
  • You can cause as many Chain Lightning as the Forsaken Guardian is overloaded, but it is not advisable to build attack speed items on her.

First Tank Ability – Earth Shard

After a short delay, Edith controls Phylax to perform a world-shattering blow in a specific direction, dealing physical damage to enemies (and more damage to minions) and knocking them into the air for 1 second. Normal crowd control effects (except suppression) do not interrupt this ability.

  • With Earth Shards there is a short delay before the stun.
  • Using Earth Shard in a bush is most efficient, as enemies with quick reflexes can easily dodge the ability.
  • Stunning does not remove Earth Shatter.
  • If you use Flicker during the delay, you can stun targets much more. You can practice this ability against AI targets to get the hang of it.

Second Armor Ability – Forward

Edith controls Phylax to charge in a targeted direction, dealing physical damage to enemies. If Phylax hits an enemy hero while doing this, he will immediately stop and throw them over his shoulder, dealing physical damage.

  • Onward can also be used as an escape tool as long as you don’t hit an enemy hero in the direction of the skill.
  • Edith cannot jump over walls with Onward, so keep that in mind and always try to get a good position when you want to use this skill.
  • Flicker also works well with Onward. Using Flicker during Onward allows you to cover greater distances and catch fleeing enemies.

Ultimate – Primal Wrath

Passive: While inside Phylax, Edith can accumulate rage equal to the damage taken (calculated before damage reduction).

Active: Edith launches herself forward from Phylax, knocking back nearby enemies. She then takes off and can perform ranged attacks, each dealing magic damage. Edith also gains new abilities while in this state. While in flight, Edith gains additional shield, attack speed, and hybrid lifesteal based on the rage she has accumulated, and converts each point of additional physical defense and additional magical defense into magical power. The flight state lasts for a period of time.

  • In Phylax’s body, she accumulates rage based on the damage she takes.
  • Edith’s sniper form is much stronger the more anger she has.
  • The ultimate effect lasts eight seconds.
  • Make sure to use her ultimate ability as often as possible when her rage meter is full, unless you need to deal damage and activate the ultimate ability early.
  • During the duration of the ultimate, all defensive attributes become magic damage, so it makes sense to build up her tank completely.

First Archer Skill – Divine Retribution

Edith unleashes divine retribution on a target area, dealing magic damage and slowing enemies hit, then continuing to deal magic damage to enemies in the area for the next split second.

  • Cast Divine Retribution on stunned or immobilized enemies to maximize the skill’s damage.
  • During the second phase of Divine Retribution, multiple enemies can be affected, including minions and jungle creepers.
  • Divine Retribution is also a great way to control enemies in the bushes instead of controlling them with your face.

Second Archer Skill – Lightning Strike

Edith fires a lightning bolt in a specific direction, dealing magical damage to the first enemy hero hit and immobilizing them for a certain period of time.

  • Lightning Bolts do not stun enemy minions or jungle creeps.
  • Lightning strikes cannot stun multiple enemies.
  • A good combination would be to cast Lightning Bolt first to stun the enemy before using Divine Retribution.

The Forsaken Warden works best with the Flicker spell. Her sniper form makes her very vulnerable to control abilities, making Flicker a lifesaver in sticky situations.

Flicker can also be used in conjunction with her Earth Shatter and Onward abilities to help Edith set up battles and surprise enemies.

When playing Edith, you want to be as powerful as possible, so the Tank Emblem is your best bet. Choosing the Tank Emblem will give you extra HP, Hybrid Defense, and HP regeneration.

As for talents, choose Swift for extra attack speed. This will allow you to trade blows in the laning phase. Alternatively, choose Agility if you’re playing as the team’s walker. The movement speed boost is crucial for early game lane support.

Next, take Tenacity. This talent gives you improved physical and magical defense when your HP falls below a certain threshold.

Finally, take Quantum Charge as your main talent. Every time you hit enemies with basic attacks, you increase your movement speed and restore HP.

The talent ensures that you can maintain control of the targets during skill combos or quickly change your position to either put further pressure on the enemy or get to safety if the situation requires it.

Edith is a dual-type hero and can be built with a mix of offensive and defensive items. The best build for the hero depends on the composition of the opposing hero.

Whether you’re playing as an EXP laner or a roamer, the goal is to increase Edith’s durability so you can last longer in skirmishes and control team fights.

After the boots, you should go for the Thunder Belt. This item improves Edith’s survivability, while its unique passive ability boosts your basic attacks after using a skill, deals explosive damage, and slows enemies.

Next, build Starlium Scythe. The item provides attack speed and additional damage, increases your attack potential in your sniper form, and also provides critical stamina in fights with its lifesteal effect.

In the mid and late game, further increase your resilience by acquiring Athene’s Shield or Radiant Armor for magic resistance. Get Ancient Cuirass or Bladed Armor to mitigate physical damage from the enemy.

Finally, buy Immortality as a late-game hedge. The revival mechanic gives you a second chance to escape or continue to maintain control of teamfights.

If you’re playing as a Wanderer, you should prioritize Dominance Ice. The item reduces the attack speed and healing effects of nearby enemies, which is especially valuable against heroes who rely on lifesteal or have a high attack speed.

Then get Athena’s Shield, Thunder Belt, Starlium Scythe and Immortality.

Tips and easy combos to learn

In the laning phase, use Onward to start the fight and keep the enemy away from the creeps or tower. Once the enemy is knocked out of formation, use Earth Shatter to stun the enemy.

After stunning, immediately perform basic attacks on the enemy to trigger the passive overload.

In the mid to late game, it’s important to fill up your Wrath meter before using Primal Wrath. During a team fight, if the enemy jungler or marksman is out of position, use Onward first before stunning them with Earth Shatter.

Otherwise, use Earth Shards first when the enemy team is close together and absorb their damage. Once the Wrath meter is full, immediately unleash chaos with Primal Wrath.
