A 32-year-old man was arrested in Montgomery County on Friday following a multi-county police chase that ended in an hours-long standoff.

Johnathon E. Brown, 32, of Hamilton, was booked into the Warren County Jail on Sunday, according to jail records.
According to court documents, Brown faces preliminary charges of criminal assault on a police officer, failure to comply with police orders and obstruction of official business.
According to prison records, Brown is also being held on suspicion of receiving stolen goods.
On August 16, the Ohio State Highway Patrol and numerous law enforcement agencies in southwest Ohio were asked to be on the lookout for a stolen Chevrolet Silverado involved in an incident in Butler Township, according to a previous News Center 7 report.
An Ohio State Highway Patrol spokesman identified the driver as Brown.
Shortly before 2 p.m., Franklin police spotted the truck on I-75 SB near Franklin Lebanon Road and attempted to stop it. Brown sped off and the pursuit began, the spokesman said.

Troopers joined the pursuit near SR-63 and SR-4 in Monroe. The spokesman said stop sticks were deployed, but Brown continued driving on the truck’s rims for several miles.
The chase ended on W. Linden Avenue near N. Riverview Avenue in Miamisburg after Brown drove sideways into a CSX train, News Center 7 previously reported.
The impact caused the truck to veer off the south side of the road, the spokesman said.

Brown refused to exit the truck and a standoff with the SWAT team ensued that lasted for hours.
Police believe the suspect was armed, which led to Miamisburg City Schools being placed on lockdown. The lockdown was lifted around 4:30 p.m.

According to a social media post from Kettering Police, the Kettering Area SWAT team and a Kettering Police drone pilot responded to assist in the standoff.
Brown was arrested by KPD K9 Ox and taken into police custody, the post said. Ox and his handler are part of the Kettering Area SWAT team.

Brown suffered minor injuries and was taken to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol will continue to investigate this incident.
