Florida’s 27th Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade and Festival in Palm Bay will be held on Sunday, October 6th and is sponsored by Gary Yeomans Ford Palm Bay in association with the City of Palm Bay and Eastern Florida College. Once again, this event promises to be an exciting celebration of Hispanic heritage and is the oldest Puerto Rican Day Parade in Florida, attracting thousands of people each year.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Florida’s 27th Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade and Festival in Palm Bay will be held Sunday, October 6, and is sponsored by Gary Yeomans Ford Palm Bay in cooperation with the City of Palm Bay and Eastern Florida College.

This event promises to be another exciting celebration of Hispanic heritage. It is the oldest Puerto Rican Day Parade in Florida, attracting thousands of people each year.

This year’s festival features live musical performances by Tito Puente Jr., who is stopping in Brevard County during his tour to celebrate the 100-year legacy of his father, the world-famous King of Mambo, Tito Puente.

Additional performances by Marcus Hernandez and Orchestra Fuego, JCee Colon and Zalsa En Control will bring their orchestra’s salsa touch to the stage and get everyone dancing! Various local and out-of-town entertainers will perform all styles of Latin music as well as freestyle music with two orchestras.

Food trucks serving delicious ethnic foods, unique wares, artists, vendors, a display of vehicles from our automotive sponsor Gary Yeomans Ford Palm Bay, a health and wellness area, an auto and classic car show, businesses and information communities, nonprofit organizations and much more come together to showcase their efforts and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

Come and enjoy the fun and family atmosphere of this free event to the public that celebrates Hispanic culture, music, dance and delicious food.

The theme of this year’s parade is “Empowering Women.” It celebrates the achievements and participation of women in our society by recognizing their contribution to community, culture, education, arts, family and the economy, and aims to create a culture of belonging for all women.
