This year a new mini golf course will open at Cabot Circus in Bristol

The owner of Cabot Circus has announced that a new mini golf course will open in Bristol’s shopping centre. Hammerson confirmed that Treetop Golf plans to open a new 1500sq m facility in the city centre “later this year”.

The mini golf brand will bring two immersive 18-hole courses to the city centre, known as Tropical Trail and Ancient Explorer. It will be Treetop Golf’s sixth UK branch and the first in Bristol.

The new venue will also include an area called “The Market,” where Pizza Cabana will offer hand-crafted pizzas, and a Jungle Buzz Cafe serving coffee and snacks. There will also be a bar serving tropical cocktails and mocktails, and there will be a bonus hole 19 at the end of each course where players can try to win a free round of mini golf.

The mini golf brand already has a successful site at the Bullring & Grand Central in Birmingham, which is also owned by Hammerson. Hammerson said it is “introducing new uses (for the shopping centre) that engage customers with unique, space-creating events, thereby increasing footfall”.

The news of Treetop Golf this year comes after Jungle Rumble claims they were “forced to close” At the end of March, Hammerson said at the time that they wanted to bring the “best-in-class operators” to Bristol.
