The Indiana Fever have won their first two games since the WNBA returned from the Olympic break. Guard Caitlin Clark appears to have improved as a player during the month-long break, but she credited Sunday’s win against the Seattle Storm to one of her teammates.

Guard Lexie Hull had her best game of the season coming off the bench for the Fever. She was a stunner with her shooting, sinking 8 of 10 field attempts (including 6 of 7 three-pointers) and scoring 22 points, the most she’s scored in a game in her career.

After the win, Clark posted on X her admiration for Hull.

“This is now a Lexie Hull fan account,” Clark wrote on the social media platform.

And rightly so, because every time the Fever needed a basket in their win over the Storm, Hull seemed to be there to sink a crucial shot.

Hull, a former 2022 first-round pick, had only scored in double figures in two games this season and had never scored more than 12 points in any game. Her previous season high for three-pointers made in a game was two.
