Due to the impact of inclement weather and the importance of bringing all Little League Baseball® World Series participants to Bowman Field for the MLB Little League Classic, the Little League® International Tournament Committee has decided to suspend Game 20 on Sunday, August 18.
The decision to suspend Game 20 also allows both starting pitchers to remain eligible to play in tomorrow’s game based on their pitch count thresholds at the time of suspension.
In accordance with Little League International tournament rules for resuming suspended tournament play, play will resume at the point it was suspended at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 19, at Volunteer Stadium. Entering the second inning, the Caribbean Region led the Australian Region 3-0 with a runner on first base, two outs, and Will Bennett leading 0-2.

- Game 20: Caribbean vs. Australia – 10am
- Game 21: Japan (W) vs. Latin America (H) – 1:00 p.m. (ESPN)
- Game 22: Mountain (V) vs. West (H) – 3:00 p.m. (ESPN)
- Game 23: Asia-Pacific (W) vs. Cuba (H) – 5:00 p.m. (ESPN)
- Game 24: Southeast (V) vs. Southwest (H) – 7:00 p.m. (ESPN)
Limited concessions will be available starting at 9 a.m., with the remaining concession opportunities opening as originally scheduled. In addition, the Little League Flagship Store will open at 9 a.m.
