During the day, 89 enemy attacks took place in the Sumy region, leaving one person dead.
This was reported by the military administration of the Sumy region in a telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“During the day, the Russians fired 89 times at the border areas and settlements of the Sumy region. 222 explosions were recorded. The communities of Yunakivska, Bilopilia, Vorozhbianska, Lebedynska, Krasnopilia, Velykopysarivska, Putyvlska, Novoslobidska, Hlukhiv, Esman, Shalyhinska, Druzhbivska and Seredyno-Budska were shelled,” the statement said.
Shalichinska municipality: The enemy fired with artillery (10 explosions) and FPV drones (13 explosions).
Bilopilia Municipality: An airstrike using guided aerial bombs was carried out (5 explosions). The airstrike killed 1 civilian and injured 3 civilians (including an 11-year-old child). There was also an FPV drone attack (1 explosion).
Velykopysarivska municipality: FPV drone attacks (5 explosions). There was also an explosive device dropped by a drone (4 explosions), rocket-propelled grenades dropped from a helicopter (8 explosions), artillery shelling (21 explosions) and mortar shelling (32 explosions).
Krasnopilia Community: The Russians fired from artillery (17 explosions), mortars (23 explosions) and rocket launchers (10 explosions). There were also unexploded bombs fired from helicopters (9 explosions) and attacks from FPV drones (2 explosions).
Druzhbivka municipality: Attacks by FPV drones were registered (7 explosions). Yunakivska municipality: Air strikes by drones took place (4 explosions). One local resident was injured by the shelling.
Seredyno-Budska municipality: FPV drone attacks (8 explosions), artillery (15 explosions) and mortar attacks (9 explosions).
Novoslobidska Municipality: An FPV drone attack was recorded (1 explosion).
Lebedynska municipality: There was a rocket attack (1 explosion).
Hlukhivska municipality: FPV drone attacks were carried out (8 explosions).
Vorozhianske municipality: There were air strikes by drones (2 explosions).
Putivl municipality: Six mines were dropped by Russians on the territory of the municipality.
Esman Township: one FPV drone attack (1 explosion).
As Ukrinform reported, the morning airstrike on the Kyiv region damaged 50 houses in three settlements, two of them destroyed.
