The six-year-old Good Witch has been streaming in its entirety on Netflix for the past few years, but its time is coming to an end, What’s on Netflix has learned. All seven seasons will be removed from the schedule at the end of September 2024.
Developed by Craig Pryce and Sue Tenney (the latter later created Virgin River Catherine Bell, Bailee Madison and James Denton produced the series for Netflix. The main roles are played by a mother who raises her daughter in a small town. The twist is that both have powerful powers.
Although Netflix’s user interface has not yet confirmed this, we have learned that Good Witch will leave Netflix on September 30th, meaning the last day to watch is September 29th.
The removal also coincides with the launch of Hallmark’s new streaming service. The remixed version of the old streamer, called Hallmark+, will host Hallmark favorites such as When Calls The Heart and The Way Home in a new design for an indefinite period of time.

As a reminder, Netflix in the United States began Good Witch in June 2016, and new seasons were released every year thereafter, with the exception of seasons 6 and 7, which were released simultaneously on September 30, 2021.
Netflix also offers the series internationally, although the last two seasons were never added in all regions. However, they will not be removed from the schedule at the same time as the US.
When will Good Witch Leave Netflix internationally?
Despite fewer seasons, Good Witch will remain on Netflix for another year in international territories such as the United Kingdom. According to our information, the series will remain on Netflix in these countries until December 15, 2026 – another two and a half years. That’s seven years after the addition of the fifth season.
We were never given an explanation as to why Netflix never brought seasons 6 and 7 to international regions, nor do we know why the series was available in those territories for so much longer. If anything changes, we’ll of course keep you updated.
