Nathan Lyon

Nathan Lyon has an excellent record in Tests against the Indians. Lyon has been a thorn in the side of the Men in Blue in numerous Test matches, sometimes winning the game single-handedly. However, India’s explosive wicket-keeper proved to be something of a cheat code against the legendary spinner, who attacked the 36-year-old head-on.

Pant has smashed Lyon all over the park in the last two Tests of the 2020/21 Gavaskar Series, including the Test at the Gabba where he scored an unbeaten 88 runs as India reached their target of 322 runs on the final day.
