The FIBA ​​U16 EuroBasket concluded on Saturday in Heraklion, Greece. It wasn’t the best tournament for Poland, with a 14th-place finish, but Lemont junior — and Illinois recruiting target of the Class of 2026 — Gabe Sularski put on a solid performance on the international stage.

Sularski was Poland’s leading scorer, averaging 16 points, 4.4 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game during the tournament. He was the tournament’s 10th-leading scorer and ranked sixth in assists. A few more data points that could improve the 6’5 guard’s recruiting ranking.

Sularski, who played his first two high school seasons at Benet Academy, is rated as a four-star prospect by 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN. He is the 65th-best prospect in the country and the No. 1 prospect in Illinois in his class, according to 247Sports.
