BTS’ Jin, who recently returned from completing his military service, is showering his fans with new content. He will soon be seen on the hit variety show Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island, and in the latest preview, he is seen being praised for his cooking skills by the cast and chef Lee Yong Bok.

On August 17 KST, MBC revealed a new preview featuring BTS’s Jin from the upcoming episode of the hit variety show Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island. The preview begins with Jin preparing to cut an ingredient with utmost precision.

Jin shows off his knife skills from his time as a military man by cutting clams and oysters. His slices are perfectly straight and thin, surprising the entire cast. In addition, Jin also receives praise from well-known Korean checker Lee Yong Bok, who smiles warmly upon seeing the BTS member’s exceptional cooking and cutting skills.

Jin also learns how to eat and cut a sea cucumber and is once again praised for his meticulous knife skills. From the preview, it seems that Jin will be an absolutely amazing chef in the upcoming variety show. At the same time, it is curious to see how Jin will navigate the unfamiliar environment and show off his skills on the show. His episode will premiere on August 19.

Meanwhile, Jin was discharged from the military on June 12, 2024, when all BTS members took a leave of absence from their service to welcome him home. The eldest BTS member held a special event the next day to celebrate FESTA 2024 on June 13, giving 1000 lucky fans a “light hug.”

Jin also released his own special variety spin-off of Run BTS called Run Jin on August 13, 2024. In the episode, Jin climbed to the top of Hallasan in the heart of Jeju Island just five days after his release.

In addition, Jin has been announced as a brand ambassador for luxury brand Gucci and he has also hinted that a solo album will be released soon. According to Jin, J-Hope is expected to return from the military in October 2024.
