Lorraine Kelly’s daughter shared a health update with her followers as she is about to welcome her first child into the world. Rosie Smith, 30, announced she was pregnant in April and later revealed she was expecting a little girl.
Rosie keeps her followers updated about her pregnancy via social media, but the ITV star’s daughter hasn’t always had it easy: she admitted that she suffers from heartburn.
She shared a picture of herself holding her medication and added the caption: “The latest in the heartburn saga is that I got a prescription for this – it’s been two days now and I’m in love.”
The Celebrity Gogglebox star is preparing to have a baby with her partner Steve White, who got down on one knee while on holiday in June. Rosie showed off her dazzling ring as she held up her hand in a gallery of snaps shared on Instagram, writing: “No June will ever top this one.”
This comes after Lorraine, 64, could barely contain her joy as she shared a sweet picture of her daughter. The podcaster beamed with happiness and grinned for photos in a figure-hugging blue dress.
Rosie cradled her growing belly as she showed off her new hairstyle with freshly layered and lightened locks. Alongside the image, the Scottish TV presenter gushed: “Not long now!! My beautiful girl @rosiekellysmith looks bloody beautiful. Treated herself to a hairdo by @bytimothydavid.”
“She is so organized and we all can’t wait to meet the new little girl (I may have bought a few little clothes for her, or maybe not).”
Lorraine couldn’t contain her excitement, adding: “I think Grandma is going to be my absolute favourite title. #baby #happy #excited #notlonger #love #family.”
Shortly after Rosie announced her pregnancy in April, Lorraine described it as “the best news ever” and was overjoyed at the thought of becoming a grandmother for the first time.
She addressed the announcement on her eponymous show, telling ITV viewers: “I’m going to be a grandma! How exciting is that? Grandma Smith, because, you know, my married name is Smith!”
“So, I’m Granny Smith! We’re all very excited, it’s huge and wonderful and yeah… it’s just cheered everyone up, which is just great.”
Lorraine concluded: “Thank you to everyone who has messaged me, that has been really kind of you… thank you so much, that means a lot to me, that means a lot to me.”
