Saint Vitus has closed permanently

Update: Saint Vitus has confirmed that they are closed for good. The original story is as follows.

“1120 Manhattan Ave. 2011-2024
Saint Vitus Bar, to be continued…

Thank you to everyone who was there. ????

Best regards,
Arty, George, David”

Original story: This really sucks – the legendary Saint Vitus in Brooklyn, NY, appears to have closed for good.

Saint Vitus was built by the New York Department of Buildings (DOB) in the middle of a Thought power show on February 16th and although they hosted shows at several venues across the city under the name Saint Vitus Presents (and promised an eventual reopening), they never reopened. According to longtime Saint Vitus videographer Frank Huang And Headlights And Julie Christmas drummer Chris EnriquezSaint Vitus has disappeared forever.

Saint Vitus has not yet issued a statement on the matter, but photos of Huang show the cruel reality. Thank you for everything, Saint Vitus. We will miss you. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
