Drew Barrymore shares epic Rashida Jones throwback photo

Drew Barrymore shares epic Rashida Jones throwback photo

Drew Barrymore moved in pretty select circles as a child.

And while cleaning out one of her storage rooms recently, she came across some photographic treasures from her childhood and shared them on her Instagram page.

Like this absolute gem from the set of “ET: The Extra-Terrestrial.”

In it, Barrymore can be seen not only with ET himself, but also with the legendary record producer Quincy Jones and his daughters Kidada and Rashida.

Kidada is now a famous fashion designer, while Rashida has appeared in films such as The Social Network and The Muppets and is probably best known for her role as Ann Perkins in Parks and Recreation.

“No way! Look what I just found!” Barrymore wrote, tagging Quincy, Rashida and Kidada. “Finding all kinds of treasures today! #oldstorageunitday.”

However, that wasn’t all she unearthed.

There was also this old photo from the set of the 1984 film Firestarter, in which young Drew starred alongside David Keith, Freddie Jones, Martin Sheen and George C. Scott.

And then this, at a party with Sharon Stone on the red carpet.

She posted this photo of herself showing off a very chic angora sweater and added: “What an amazing day. I’ve seen wonderful little windows in my life. I’m glad I’m as happy as I was as a child and vice versa. I love life. I’m always grateful. #oldstorageunitday.”

Barrymore was born into the Barrymore acting dynasty (her grandparents were John Barrymore and Dolores Costello, she is the great-niece of Lionel and Ethel Barrymore, and goddaughter of Steven Spielberg and Sophia Loren). Her first screen appearance was at the age of eleven months in a dog food commercial.

She made her film debut in Ken Russell’s “The Road to Hell” with William Hurt before landing a role as Gertie, Elliot’s sister, in “ET.”
