The campaign aims to maximize its impact by airing on high-rated and expensive sporting events and television premieres, the memo says.

Fox News is also running ads to attract voters who lean Republican but remain skeptical of Trump.

While former President Trump was ahead of Biden in the fundraising race over the summer, Harris’ rise to the top of the ballot list enabled hundreds of millions in new donations and gave the Democrats a significant cash advantage in the home stretch of the election campaign.

According to media monitoring firm AdImpact, Trump’s relatively cash-strapped campaign has reserved advertising time for the post-Labor Day period only in Pennsylvania and Georgia.

Current polls show Trump and Harris neck and neck on all major campaign issues. However, the former president consistently performs better on immigration and the economy, both issues that are likely to have a significant impact on the final outcome.
