Mel Gibson’s critically acclaimed war drama Hacksaw Ridge should begin Streaming on Tubi from September 1st. This 2016 biographical film is considered one of the best World War II films of the 2010s.




The film is based on the true story of Desmond Doss, a pacifist medic who served during the Battle of Okinawa. Doss, a Seventh-day Adventist, made history by becoming the first conscientious objector to receive the Medal of Honor, the United States’ highest military award.
