Justin Timberlake has had a pretty controversial few months, from being arrested for drunk driving to revealing details about his past relationship with Britney Spears. And now insiders are apparently claiming that his wife Jessica Biel has made a “list of rules” for him in the midst of it all.
Insiders told Life and Style Magazine that Biel has reportedly created a list of rules to help him avoid controversy, especially during her busy schedule on the new show The Better Sister.
“She has a list of rules” for the 43-year-old, they told the outlet. “The incident has put a tremendous strain on the marriage.”
They added: “Jessica wants reassurance from Justin that he will be more supportive of her work – even if that means she has to stay home with the kids (Silas, 9, and Phineas, 4) while she’s on a shoot. She’s pushing to work more and relies on Justin to fill the gap.”
In addition, she asks for “more help around the house and more regular appointments. His immaturity has pushed her to her limits.”
What Timberlake and the sweets star, they have been together since 2007. They dated for several years before breaking up in 2011, but months later they confirmed their engagement. The following year, in 2012, they married in southern Italy. Since then, they have had two children: Silas, born in April 2015, and Phineas, born around January 2021.
Carla Horvath, a public relations expert, told SheKnows exclusively earlier this year that she believed Biel could potentially frame the story in a light that was positive for her.
“Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake have faced numerous public challenges, including infidelity scandals and controversies. Jessica has always stood by Justin and may seek to strategically navigate future issues,” she said. “By potentially embedding personal struggles … in a narrative of redemption and resilience, she could create a story that not only supports her husband, but also projects a positive image of herself in the public eye.”
