LEGO Harry Potter: Back to Hogwarts activities to be announced soon

Further details on the LEGO Group’s participation in this year’s Harry Potter Back to Hogwarts event will be announced shortly.

Warner Bros. recently announced that this year’s annual Harry Potter event will take place starting September 1st, and The LEGO Group has been confirmed as one of the key licensing partners participating in the upcoming Back to Hogwarts activities.

The full lineup of Harry Potter events for 2024 has slowly emerged over the past few weeks, with screenings taking place around the world, a competition for fans to win a Back to Hogwarts Welcome Feast, and a livestream on the official Harry Potter YouTube channel from 10:30am BST (5:30am ET) on 1 September.

The latest update to the Wizarding World website states that the LEGO Group will be hosting “exciting LEGO Harry Potter activities on LEGO.com and in select retail stores.” More specific details will be announced soon. It has not yet been confirmed whether this could potentially include some sort of “make and take” build, polybag giveaway or possible set reveals.

Last year’s Back to Hogwarts event saw the announcement of several new LEGO Harry Potter models, including the 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank Collectors’ Edition, several GWPs, discounts on sets, designer signings, and more.

So far, only one LEGO Harry Potter set has been officially announced for the rest of the year: the 2024 Advent Calendar (76438) will be released on September 1st and will cost £29.99 / $44.99 / €34.99.
