Eight matches were played on Day 2 and Day 3 of Group B of the 2024 WBSC U-18 Women’s Softball World Cup despite weather conditions that posed challenges for groundskeepers, players and officials. Both Japan and China remain undefeated, Puerto Rico is in third place with a 2-1 record and Italy is 1-2. Both Peru and the Netherlands are still waiting for their first win of the tournament.
Due to the weather-related rescheduling of games, all games since Game 7 will be played over five innings.
All games will be available on GameTime, the official online streaming platform of the WBSC. Fans in China can watch the games via the Chinese Softball Association’s WeChat account, local sports streaming service hupu.com and miguvideo.com.
