Professional boxer Devin Haney beats civilians at the OC Fair: caught on video

Devin Haney, who fought rival Ryan Garcia in April, was involved in another fight, this time at the Orange County Fair in Southern California with a random guy, and it was all caught on video.

That is, the 25-year-old professional boxer was observed along with three others from his group taking turns hitting a guy who had apparently argued with them before the beating.

Police arrived shortly afterward as everyone except the victim dispersed, so there were no arrests at the scene. That means Haney and his crew could face assault charges as law enforcement is currently investigating the incident, according to TMZ.

As for Haney’s boxing career, he is still 31-0, as his loss in his most recent notable fight against Garcia was overturned because his opponent tested positive for the performance-enhancing drug Ostarine.

Against this background, Garcia, who was suspended for one year by the New York State Athletic Commission and also banned by the WBC, commented on the events at the OC Fair in which Haney was involved.

In another tweet, Garcia also railed against Haney.

“I wonder what the commission would do if I was fighting someone and it was caught on camera, hmmm… The thing is, he hits so softly that maybe they’ll let it slide and call it an exhibition fight, hmmm, who knows.”
