Love makes you blind but to find your bandmates, And with some of the greatest group members as judges?! On Friday, Netflix announced that Kelly Rowland, Nicole Scherzinger, Liam Payne and AJ McLean will help find the next great music group Structure of the band.

The new series will feature individual singers who form their own bands with other participants – but during this process they will be isolated in individual booths (à la Love makes you blind). Singers must choose who they will form a band with based on their chemistry, musical compatibility, and connection.

Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls, Payne of One Direction and Rowland of Destiny’s Child will serve as judges and mentors. McLean of the Backstreet Boys will host the series.

Scherzinger has gained some experience as a judge in music competitions, having The X-Factor, Masked Singer And The Sing-Off. Meanwhile, Payne was placed in One Direction while competing X-Factor.

“Structure of the band is a bold and daring venture for everyone involved as we give the singers themselves the power to create their own band based initially on chemistry,” executive producer Cat Lawson told Netflix. Tudum“Can they build a deeper connection with their bandmates when looks no longer matter?”

“With a limited number of bands, you have to make difficult decisions and have exciting moments along the way, but in the end the result is truly amazing and it creates bands that I think are worthy of the biggest stage of all!” added Lawson.

The series will also feature guest judges and filming will begin before the end of the summer.
