Epic Games announced today that Fortnite will be playable on iOS devices in the European Union and Android devices worldwide. Read on to learn how to download Fortnite on iOS, what bonuses you’ll get when you launch, and more.
How do I install Fortnite on iOS devices?
- To download Fortnite on iOS devices, players must first complete Apple’s region verification for customers in the European Union.
- Make sure your device is running iOS 17.4 or later and is using Safari or Brave browser.
- Then visit the Epic Games Store website and click the “Get on iPhone” button.
- Players will then receive a pop-up on their iOS device that will prevent them from allowing Epic Games marketplaces. At this point, you will need to click OK and go to the Settings app. There, players will find a banner under their iCloud profile that says “Allow Epic Games Marketplace.” Click on this banner and then press “Allow.”
- Then go back to the browser and click on “Install”. You will get another pop-up where you have to select “Install App Marketplace”.
- Once you’re done, Epic Games Store is installed on your iOS device. Launch the app from the home page, sign in with your Epic Games Store ID, and install the games you want to play. You can download Fortnite and other Epic titles, including Rocket League, Fall Guys, and more.
- After that, launch the game and you can play Fortnite on your iPhone again. Plus, you can try out all the modes including Creator Made Islands, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, Fortnite Festival, and Battle Royale.

Fortnite is offering exclusive outfits and other cosmetic items through quests to celebrate its return to iOS and Android devices. Through v.32.00 in November, Fortnite players on iOS and Android devices can unlock the Katalina outfit, as well as Tactical Kat Wrap, Kat Claws Pickaxe, and Katalina’s Kit Bag Back Bling. These rewards are exclusive to the Fortnite mobile app on Android and iOS in the European Union.
