“Harry Potter” star Bonnie Wright is expecting her first child

Bonnie Wright has announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband Andrew Lococo.

The British actor, who played Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter series, married Lococo in March 2022.

On Friday (April 28), she showed off her bump in photos on Instagram and posed next to Lococo as Wright announced, “We’re having a baby!”

Wright, who is also an environmental activist, captioned her post: “I’m so excited to share this beautiful country with you. What a wild and humbling journey pregnancy is, a change that makes room for new life.”

The baby is due later this year, she added, and “it feels like they are saying hello in the little rainbow ball on my belly.”

Several celebrities, including Harry Potter stars, congratulated the couple under Wright’s post.

Scarlet Hefner, who played Pansy Parkinson in the hit film series, commented: “Congratulations to you both! So exciting.”

Afshan Azad appeared as Padma Patil in the films and wrote, “I love you and my niece or nephew so much already!” along with white heart emojis.

The boys Star Erin Moriarty said, “I love you both so much,” while drag queen Pattie Gonnia confirmed that Wright and Lococo “will be the BEST parents.”

“You’re getting a nephew,” one fan responded to a comment by James Phelps, who played Ginny’s brother Fred Weasley in the Harry Potter films.

“First Harry and now Ginny… I’m old,” remarked another after a spokesperson for Daniel Radcliffe recently confirmed that the actor and his long-time partner Erin Darke had welcomed their first child together.
