A new line of 25th anniversary Tarzan items has arrived at Walt Disney World. The collection includes a Loungefly backpack, which was sold out when we visited, Loungefly ears, a Terk plush toy, a Tarzan and Jane figure, and a mug. All items were available at Ziwani Traders in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. We also found the ears and plush toy at World of Disney in Disney Springs.
Ear Headband – $44.99
The outside of the Loungefly ear headband is covered in forest green faux leather and the inside is lined with soft brown velvet. The ears are surrounded by faux leather vines. The Minnie bow between the ears is brown with a leaf pattern.
Tantor the elephant is depicted on the left ear against a blue and green jungle background. Terk is attached to the right ear with a button so she can swing back and forth.
On one side of the ear hook there is a brown label with the wordmarks “Disney” and “Loungefly”.
The back of each ear shows trees, vines, leaves, and other plants covered in green moss in an otherwise empty jungle.
Terk Plush – $29.99
This plush toy transforms Tarzan’s best friend Terk into a cuddly toy. Terk is a black and gray gorilla with a large fluff of fur. She has embroidered facial features, including her brown eyes and smile.
There is no design on Terk’s back.
Tarzan and Jane Figure – $229
This figure represents the moment when Tarzan and Jane first meet in the 1999 film. The two figures are sitting on mossy roots under a treetop covered in green vines.
Tarzan crouches with his hand outstretched. Jane kneels in her yellow dress and stares at Tarzan with eyes wide with fear. The figure lights up.
Tarzan Mug – $24.99
One side of this mug features Tarzan “surfing” on a branch, framed by a wood-like surface with green moss cascading from the top of the mug.
The back of the mug features “Disney Tarzan 25th” framed against a jungle background. The handle resembles a twisted branch.
Tarzan and Jane Ornament – $26.99
This Tarzan sketchbook ornament is not marked as part of the 25th Anniversary collection, but is new. It features a scene from the end of the film when Tarzan and Jane swing together on a vine.
Jane looks at Tarzan lovingly. Tarzan has one hand on the vine and the other around Jane’s waist. A golden hook and a red ribbon protrude from Tarzan’s head.
Tarzan was released in theaters on June 18, 1999. After its release, the film was shown in Disney parks around the world. Tarzan’s Treehouse reopened at Hong Kong Disneyland in January 2024. In late 2023, the former Tarzan’s Treehouse at Disneyland reopened as Adventureland Treehouse, inspired by Walt Disney’s Swiss Family Robinson.
