Popular Cheadle pub to close after six-figure investment and rebranding | Local News | News | Stoke Nub News

A popular pub on Tean Road in Cheadle is to close for a short time as it undergoes major investment and a new design.

A spokesperson confirmed to Nub News that the pub will close on Sunday 18 August and reopen at the end of September.

The Hungry Horse pub will undergo a six-figure investment and be renamed before reopening as the Greene King Pub following extensive renovations.

The Hungry Horse venue reopens as the Greene King Pub (Google).

In a social media statement, Master Potter said: “We are still open all week, so come see us while you can.”

“Check back here often to stay updated on the changes and plans for our exciting relaunch events.

“Matt and the Master Potter team can’t wait to welcome you back in September.”
