Katy Perry plays a beach-drifting motorcycle villain in the video for her new single “Lifetimes.” On Thursday, the pop star released the video, which reveals the track list of her upcoming album. 143including collaborations with Kim Petras, Doechii, 21 Savage and JID

The video, directed by Stillz, shows the singer strutting along the beach in a bikini, cruising on a yacht with some friends and throwing pizza into the crowd at a nightclub during a recent trip to Spain. The video ends with a hungover Perry sitting on the train while drinking a bottle of water.

“‘Lifetimes’ is a song about everlasting love,” Perry said in a press release. “It’s about finding that one deep and fulfilling love of your life. A soulmate doesn’t always have to come in the form of a partner. It can come in many different ways: a child, a best friend, a pet.”

“For me, it’s my daughter,” she added. “I ask her every night, ‘Will you find me in every lifetime?’ She says yes, and I feel found. You will find each other, over and over again, for a lifetime.”

At one point in the “Lifetimes” video, Perry reveals the track list for 143which will be released on September 20th via Capitol Records. It is her first full-length project since 2020 Smile.

In addition to the singles “Woman’s World” and “Lifetimes,” the album also includes tracks such as “All the Love,” “Crush,” and “Wonder.” 21 Savage appears on track 2, “Gimme Gimme,” Kim Petras accompanies Perry on “Gorgeous,” Doechii raps on “I’m His, He’s Mine,” and JID features on “Artificial.”

Perry previewed “Lifetimes” last month with clips of her dancing to the song with fans at an album preview event.”143 is a party and everyone is invited,” Perry wrote on Instagram. The new single comes a few weeks after the singer was dragged online for 143‘s first single “Women’s World”.

“I wanted to create a bold, exuberant and celebratory dance-pop album whose central message is the symbolic 143 numerical declarations of love,” Perry previously said of the album.

143 Perry reunited with some producers she’d worked with in the past — like Stargate, Max Martin and Dr. Luke — as well as some new collaborators, including Vaughn Oliver, Rocco Valdes and Theron Thomas. “Katy knew exactly what album she wanted to make and put the team together to make it happen,” a Capitol Records source said.
