Megyn Kelly on Instagram Margot Robbie and Megyn Kelly
Margot Robbie and Megyn Kelly had a “bombshell encounter”.
On Tuesday, Kelly shared a snap of herself and Robbie posing for a photo together in Utah, three years after the actress starred in the 2019 film bomb about Kelly, 52, and her colleague, journalist and news anchor Gretchen Carlson.
“A bombshell encounter in Deer Valley, Utah. She was lovely and friendly. Kind of weird for both of us since she spent months with the ‘wrong me’ for a movie. Thank you Margot Robbie,” Kelly captioned her Instagram photo.
While 32-year-old Robbie played a fictional character named Kayla Pospisil, Charlize Theron starred as Kelly and Nicole Kidman as Carlson (56).
The drama follows three women, all working at Fox News, as they fight to bring sexual harassment charges against the company’s late CEO, Roger Ailes (played by John Lithgow).

Kelly, who hosted her own shows on Fox News, including America Live And The Kelly Filehad previously praised 47-year-old Theron for playing her role in the film.
In September 2019, Kelly told the Daily Mail“I’m a fan of hers. She seems smart and a good mother. So I could be worse off.”
A month later, Theron responded to Kelly’s praise, saying: Entertainment tonight that she had not heard of Kelly’s flattering remarks, but noted: “That is incredibly nice.”
“As actors and creative storytellers, we try to do all of this with integrity, so that’s where it always came from,” the actress added. “For her to feel comfortable with that, it certainly can’t be easy for her, so I’m incredibly understanding.”

Both Theron and Robbie were nominated for the 2020 Oscar and Golden Globe for their roles in the film.
Australian actress Robbie had previously revealed that she accepted her role in the film long before she had finished reading the script.
“I was pretty confused when I reached the end (of the bomb) script, to be honest,” she said diversity and iHearts film podcast The big ticket in November 2019. “And I knew long before I finished the script that I wanted to do it and be a part of it, just because I thought it was important to tell it, to be a part of it and to support it in every way possible.”
She continued, “For once, I didn’t think about the character first. I thought about the content and the message before I identified with the character. That came next, I started to understand Kayla.”
