The daytime television host once again showcased her incredible vocal talents on the July 18 episode of the NBC series. While she’s recently covered iconic songs from both her catalog and 1980s bands, Kelly delved into the indie rock genre with a version of The Last Dinner Party’s 2023 single “Nothing Matters.”

When Kelly came on stage in a long-sleeved gingham dress and straight wavy blonde hair, she surprised the audience with her unique rendition of the song. And when she hit the high notes of the song, people were amazed by her vocal range.

When a clip of Kelly’s latest cover made the rounds online, people were immediately shocked at how much she had managed to make the song her own.

In May, she began delving into her own music catalog with more mature versions of “Behind These Hazel Eyes” and “Beautiful Disaster (Live).” Additionally, in early July, she celebrated the decade she was born in with a cover of Aerosmith’s “Angel.”
